The head of overseeing the holdings of these cryptocurrencies shifted 97.34 BTC on Thursday afternoon to accommodate block height of 889,703. Blockchain analytics company Arkham Intelligence has quickly detected and reported transactions on X.

US government BTC relocated Thursday afternoon.
“The US government has just moved $8.46 million in BTC from SAE-Heng’s forfeiture funds,” Arkham pointed out. Prior to this activity, the government maintained a total of 198,109 BTC. Considering the latest transfers and assuming that the relevant addresses remain under federal control, the government’s current holdings (without these wallets) stand at 198,012 BTC.
97.34 The BTC relocation was made through the BeCh32-encoded native segment wit wallet “BC1QEQK.” This sent 0.00011516 BTC (approximately $10) to “BC1QS0Q” and changed the BC1QF at $846 million along with a massive total of 97.3358 BTC.
The move came shortly after federal authorities moved 298.936 AVAX two weeks ago from forfeiture assets linked to Brian Crewson. The BTC change comes amid growing speculation about the possibility of a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States, further fuelled by President Trump’s executive order on March 6.
The directive outlined the plans for the National BTC preparations procured from criminal forfeiture. Several from within the Trump administration say these holdings will not be sold. With this declaration in place, government Bitcoin activities become the focus of public scrutiny, with observers closely monitoring all Satoshi leaving their controlled wallets.
