Atsuko, who raised the famous Shiba Inu Kabosu who became the face of Doge Meme, announced today that she has adopted a new rescue dog named Cocoro.
In addition to introducing the new family, Sato said that community partners have allowed them to “own a Doge” to create an official Kokoro Token. According to data from Geckoterminal, the tokens deployed on the base hit $100 million with fully diluted valuations at launches of less than an hour.
Let me introduce you to our newest new family, Minor.
The name comes from the Japanese word “kokoro” which means “mind”. However, I call her “coco” for short and prefer the spelling “coco”, so her full name is “cocoro.” pic.twitter.com/eb99ipjm4p— Kabosumama (@kabosumama) March 8, 2025

Sato said people she didn’t know would use images of her dog to create and fire tokens without permission. Now, along with her new dog heart, she is partnering with a community she trusts to create official tokens.
In the past, anonymous people have used my pet portraits to launch tokens. This time, I have blessed my support community and created an official Kokoro Token with my own Doge, which I previously worked extensively.

The Black Bible Mind joins Neiro, a dog already familiar to fans, as part of Sato’s growing family. Inspired by Sato’s Neiro, Neiro Meme Coin fell by about 14% after the announcement of adoption per Coingecko.
Doge revealed that 5% of the tokens are trapped in the liquidity pool.
To prevent early price manipulation, the pool was launched with a fully diluted valuation of $1 million. 20% of tokens are exclusively for airdrops of existing dogs and Neilo token holders.
Finally, the 5% DAO reserve funds future development and community initiatives.
We are delighted to welcome the newest members of Atsuko’s family, Cocoro!
With Atsuko’s blessing, OTD is launching $ cocoro. The launch is intended to be as fair as possible and to protect against informal extraction deployments while benefiting Atsuko’s existing supporters.

However, the legitimacy of SATO’s posts remains in question, particularly following previous hack reports targeting her social media accounts. Sato also posted a similar announcement on her website on Saturday.
“I absolutely refuse to use images without permission to make money! That’s my strong will. If it’s convenient enough to hack, I thought I’d trust it and use it to create tokens to protect children and animals all over the world!” According to Sato’s new blog post, translated into English.
Kabosu of Shiba Inu, who inspired Dogecoin Meme and captured the hearts of the internet, passed away at the age of 18 after a battle with leukemia and liver disease.
The Crypto community has lamented the loss deeply, paying tribute to notable figures like Elon Musk and Vitalik Buterin.
Dogecoin itself saw the temporary price surge as a moving tribute to the dogs that influenced it.
