ChainLink, one of the world’s largest altcoins, has unlocked a massive token lock that had previously been planned.
Recently, the ChainLink development team has added 19 million links, or assets worth around $269 million, and runs regularly quarterly with token unlock operations.
According to data, he transferred 14,875 million links worth $212.9 million to Binance.
Meanwhile, the remaining 425 million links ($56.2 million) have been transferred to a multi-sig wallet with a short address of 0xD50.
Data shows that the chain link development team has unlocked a total of 176 million links since August 2022. This amount was equivalent to $2 billion at the time, and now it is equivalent to $2.43 billion. 151.3 million of these unlocked tokens were transferred to Binance for an average of $11.41.
The Chain Link Development Team currently holds 342.5 million links worth $4.7 billion locked into uncirculating supply agreements.
Following today’s unlocking tokens, the link price reacted with a loss of about 5%.
