- US miners have hit a new high for Bitcoin hashrate control at 30%.
- An increase in share could shift Bitcoin’s network dynamics.
- This growing domination could have an impact on the decentralization of Bitcoin.
The historic first, registered US Bitcoin miners dominate a record 30% of Bitcoin’s network hashrate. This represents an increase in points by 800 units since Harving. This should cover the dominant position for the miners of the Bitcoin world. This soaring domination at the hashrate could mean that Bitcoin’s future operations and its performance will always be impacted when it comes to Altcoins. As US listed miners grow their share, they may be under scrutiny for such a trend in mining power that has probably built a substantial line from fate over the long term.
us US Bitcoin Miner recorded 30% hashrate control! πΊπΈ
Since half of the time, 14 publicly listed miners have gained 800bps in market share, showing the highest ever-held advantage in Bitcoin’s network.

Increased share of Bitcoin Haslates among US miners
Figure 1 shows the share of registered miners in the US for the Network Hashrate Show, a significant increase in control of the Bitcoin network. In January 2022, it accounted for only 14.8% of the total network hashrate of US miners. However, from December 2022, that number jumped to 24.4%, demonstrating how US miners quickly gained control in their mining activities. And in March 2025 it soared to an impressive 30%. This trend shows that US miners control almost a third of the Bitcoin network.
The rapid development of control by US miners could stem from half of Bitcoin that occurred in May 2020, resulting in strategic moves by publicly available mining companies. Many of such developments were incorporated by these mining companies throughout the entire period from 2023 to early 2024. One of these increased from 22.6% to 27.3% between November 2023 and February 2024, giving credibility to the aggression of US list miners to control mining space. According to forecasts, by mid-2024, this will be a steady range of fluctuations between 21% and 27%.
Impact of Bitcoin on decentralization
One of the main features of design is decentralization in Bitcoin. But today, it is actually hindered by an increased concentration of network hashrates under the control of US miners. Increased hashrate share among registered US miners improved Bitcoin security, but also contradicted the ideals of a completely decentralized network. If these miners are willing to increase their influence, they could potentially provide more centralized control by giving multiple major players an unlimited power share of Bitcoin’s fate.
