Game players can collect dilbits by destroying equipment. It is usually a unique resource that is difficult to obtain.
Dilbit Memo Coin Spikes
Inspired by Fortnite’s in-game currency, Solana-based Memecoin Dill Bits spiked 200% on April 4th to $0.0005.
Fortnite introduced Dill Bits as an in-game currency in February as a joke to Crypto. However, these can only be used to purchase items in the game.
At the time, the announcement of in-game currency encouraged anonymous crypto users to create their own version of Solana’s tokens.
However, recent spikes are not close to previous surges. When Memecoin first launched in February, its prices surged 4,500% to reach a market capitalization of $4.8 million.
Another huge spike from Memecoin occurred on March 9th after Fortnite released a video promoting its latest “Rugpull” storyline.

Another player posted a YouTube video on April 1st, showing all the secret locations on the map, explaining that if the server is destroyed in the game, it could drop a dilbit.
“Wow, Bitcoin has become the mainstream for games like Fortnite to add this little Easter egg,” commented by one player on Reddit after discovering the secret location on April 3rd.
Gimmick may not be new to Fortnite players as other hidden server mines have been discovered elsewhere in the map since the in-game currency was introduced.
According to the official Fortnite Wiki, the new Dill Bits Mining Server is “Fortnite’s Nameless Place: Battle Royale, added to Chapter 6: Season 2. It says “contains a small cave containing a server that mines cryptocurrency called Dilbit.”

Cryptocurrency in Fortnite Games
Dill Bits, Fortnite’s in-game currency, can spend “boons” granting additional abilities “providing a selection of mythical and legendary items in one of the three black markets around the map,” the Fortnite team explained at the time.
In-game descriptions show that Dilbit “a bulky, confusing crypto coin that didn’t need it. These coins are perfect for dubious black market trading.”
