Large whales are suffering from sudden drops and high volatility in the cryptocurrency market, according to Onchain Data.
Just a month ago, the unfortunate whale purchased 2.9 million mantra (OM) tokens worth $18.7 million in cryptocurrency exchange Binance for an average price of $6.46. Today, whale wallets deposited $1.72 million worth of tokens to $1 million.
Currently, the total amount of damage caused by the whale is around $17 million.
As is known, OM prices fell about 90% due to allegations of operations, sweeping $5 billion from the total market value. The names of the two people who were allegedly operating in the leaf token were accused of causing the decline. Cryptocurrency detective ZACHXBT did not comment on whether the development team was aware of the operation regarding the decline.
According to the claims, the two defendants wanted to apply to many credit agencies before the OM fell and retrieve a large amount of loans with OM collateral.
