Approximately 10 leading digital asset managers have applied for the XRP ETF.
Decided for most applications to be released in October 2025.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission is currently considering multiple XRP ETF applications. However, most of them are pending for final decisions. Now, the odds have recovered as the clarity of regulations developed along with the firing of the Ripple lawsuit.
List of XRP ETFS filings by SEC
- Prophet Ultra XRP etf
- Applications submitted on January 17, 2025, and the SEC approved the NYSE ARCA listing in mid-July 2025.
- The ETF was then released on July 18, 2025, offering double-utilized exposure to XRP futures.
- Grayscale XRP ETF
- Applications submitted via Form 19B-1 on November 21, 2024 will convert XRP Trust to ETF.
- The SEC’s final decision is scheduled to be made on October 18th, 2025.
- 21 Share XRP ETF
- Applications filed on November 21, 2024 via Form 19B-1 will register Core XRP Trust Stock for listing on CBOE BZX Exchange.
- The SEC officially approved the application on February 19th. Final decisions regarding approval or disapproval will be made on October 19, 2025.
- Bitwise
- Applications submitted via Form S-1 on December 2, 2024 launch a Spot XRP ETF that holds XRP directly.
- The SEC officially approved the application on February 19th. Final decisions regarding approval or disapproval will be made on October 20, 2025.
- Canary capital
- Applications submitted via Form S-1 on October 8, 2024 will launch the Spot XRP ETF. This allows investors to get a direct contact with the price of XRP without the need to buy, retain or manage the cryptocurrency itself.
- The SEC officially approved the application on February 19th. Final decisions regarding approval or disapproval will be made on October 24, 2025.
- WisdomTree
- Applications submitted via Form S-1 on December 2, 2024 launch Spot XRP ETF, which tracks XRP prices directly.
- The SEC officially approved the application on February 19th. Final decisions regarding approval or disapproval will be made on October 25th, 2025.
- Franklin Templeton
- It was submitted in March via Form S-1 to provide a regulated institutional investment tool that directly holds XRP tokens.
- The final deadline for approval or disapproval is expected on October 25th, 2025.
- Coin share
- An application submitted via Form S-1 on January 24, 2025 has launched the Spot XRP ETF. This objective is to provide investors with direct exposure regulated to XRP through traditional exchange trade funds.
- The SEC officially approved the application on February 19th. Final decisions regarding approval or disapproval will be made on October 25th, 2025.
- RexShares Rex-Soprey
- Applications submitted via Form S-1 on January 21, 2025 launch a Spot XRP ETF that holds the XRP token directly.
- The SEC was expected to make a decision on July 25th, but it has slowed down more time to review before granting approval.
- Volatility shares XRP ETFs
- Application submitted on May 21, 2025 via amended registration after Form N-1A. We plan to launch both 1x XRP futures ETFs and 2x leveraged XRP futures ETFs.
- The SEC decision schedule was scheduled for July 2025, but later delayed.
What’s next?
In a recent interview with CNBC Television, Nate Geraci, president of Novadius Wealth Management, said he expects a standardized cryptographic framework to be released. Oversees multiple publishers of XRP ETF, Solana ETF, Cardano, HBAR, and other ETFs.
If that happens, “you will see a wave of approval, and you will see a new crypto ETF boat coming into the market,” Jerasi said.
