MoonPay has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with Trust Wallet, a self-obligatory crypto wallet with over 200 million users, to bolster its on-ramp and off-ramp services.

According to an official announcement on August 14th, the agreement will make MoonPay the default provider for Trust Wallet’s “buy” feature, starting with US customers.
The collaboration deepens the relationship that began in 2020 when Trust Wallet first integrated MoonPay’s on-ramp service. The off-lamp feature was added in early 2023.
Focus on seamless transactions
According to the two companies, the new agreement aims to remove friction from users and expand access to cryptos globally. MoonPay’s infrastructure supports over 190 countries and offers multiple local payment methods and Fiat currency. The integration provides in-app checkouts to buy and sell crypto, streamlining the process for millions of trusted wallet users.
“This is not just a consolidation, it’s a strategic alignment between the two key forces of the crypto industry,” said Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of MoonPay. Trust Wallet CEO Eowyn Chen added that MoonPay’s infrastructure “provides smoother transactions and more payment options” to its user base.

Some of the broader expansions of MoonPay
Trust Wallet trading follows a recent set of MoonPay milestones. The company partnered with MasterCard earlier this year to deploy payment cards powered by Stablecoin, secured New York Bitlicense to operate in all 50 US states, and was named as the sole crypto native company on CNBC’s 2025 Disruptor 50 list.
The Wallet integration, including support for Tron’s TRX and Tether (USDT), has also expanded, and has won an exclusive agreement to supply all the ramps for future Rumble Wallet. Payment options have also grown with new support for Revolut Pay, top-up of Apple Pay balances and immediate PayPal funding.
Trust Wallet integration is already open to US customers and is expected to expand to additional markets during the partnership.
