Trezor Suite now supports WalletConnect, allowing users to securely connect their hardware wallets to distributed applications. The merger was announced by the company on August 20th.
The new WalletConnect feature allows Trezor users to securely connect to distributed applications
This feature allows Trezor users to interact directly with various distributed applications (DAPPs) through the Trezor Suite interface. Maintain security and ensure that all transaction verifications are physically verified on the Trezor device, and that private keys do not leave the hardware wallet.
WalletConnect integration provides access to popular DAPP across multiple blockchains. Users can now use services such as tokens, Aave for lending, Aave for lending, and Opsy for inappropriate token (NFT) trading without compromising their independence.
Trezor CEO Matej Zak explained in a release submitted to Bitcoin.com News. The move is intended to enable users to safely explore evolving Web3 applications.
Trezor details that key benefits include multi-chain support for networks such as Ethereum and Solana. It works with existing Trezor devices and offers a seamless experience without the need for additional wallets or new backups. WalletConnect is now available in the latest version of Trezor Suite. The team explained to Newsdesk.
