The Real World Asset (RWA) Tokenization sector witnessed significant developments as top players joined forces to deploy the ERC-7943 standard. The groundbreaking ERC-7943 standard is a modular, open Ethereum standard that brings flexibility, collaboration and transparency to the rapidly growing RWA sector.
Platforms participating in this initiative include BIT2ME, ZOTH, COMSOTH SA, BRICKKEN, STOBOX, DEKALABS, REALESTATE.EXCHANGE, DIGISHARES, Fulltokenized, Hacken, and Forte Protocol. Created and supported by renowned market players, ERC-7943 is poised to provide a robust alternative to closed or unique tokenization mechanisms, meeting institutional requirements without compromising its constitutiveness or openness.
ERC-7943 is now available to enhance RWA tokenization infrastructure for institutions
The release of the ERC-7943 by prominent industry players like the top crypto asset platform BIT2ME occurs amid a large demand combining cross-border RWA infrastructure. To complement this, Brickken’s main RWA infrastructure promises an efficient institutional model.
In this regard, almost $27 billion in assets are reportedly tokenized across the open blockchain, as mentioned by RWA.xyz. The amount reportedly takes into account $7.45 billion in the US Treasury, providing continuous month of growth in different segments.
At the same time, Luxembourg-headquartered deep tech company Comperio SA is also participating in the launch of the ERC-7943, providing global infrastructure components to merge Web3 and Web2 computing. Similarly, Dekalabs offers senior and interdisciplinary technical teams to provide services dealing with mobile apps, corporate solutions, web apps, AI, and UI/UX.
Compliance gap for ERC-7943 agency
EIP author Dario Lo Buglio said he struggles to address compliance requirements by leveraging open blockchain architecture. In response, he added that the ERC-7943 provides a robust solution to fill that gap with its modular construction. Therefore, seamless integration and backing of shared communities will increase confidence in providing agency-wide RWA utilities.
Separately, the ERC-7943 standard also addresses challenges regarding fragmented standards, insufficient interoperability, and the risk of vendor lock-in. As a result, unique standards enhance trust and scalability while increasing innovation. The main functions of the ERC-7943 consider modularity, institutional alignment, and neutrality.
