Fresh Report recognizes Kiteai’s role in establishing synergies between Web3, blockchain, and the AI agent ecosystem. With $33 million funding from PayPal Ventures and General Catalyst, Kiteai is driving barriers to performance and interoperability for AI agents.
Kiteai builds L1 for the Agent Economy: Report
searchEVM-compatible Layer-1 Blockchain is building next-generation infrastructure solutions for agent payments. Its main focus is enabling safe and high-throughput agents to pay using Stablecoins, aiming to become the fundamental financial railway of the economy of machines.
We look forward to sharing that @MessaricRypto has just released a detailed report on building Kite AI: Agent Economy.
Thank you to the Messari team for understanding our vision of building a Layer-1 blockchain built for the Agent Internet.

The ambitions and advancements of the project are recognized by Messari, a reputable research and analytics platform. In that new report, Kiteai: Building an agent economy, Messari experts are studying the latest results in use cases, high-tech architectures and their development.
To address the biggest obstacles in the early AI agent scene, Kite AI proposed a unique stack of technology.
Its agent passport is designed to encrypt identity using programmable spending restrictions and operational constraints.
The Proof of Artificial Intelligence (POAI) consensus is the backbone of the Kiteai transaction validation engine. This is a novel consensus that rewards actual AI contributions and calculation work. With its AI-Native architecture, Kiteai already achieves impressive bandwidth of 100ms sub-milliseconds of latency, as low as $0.000001, and more than 450 inferences per second.
Unlike closed AI platforms and general purpose blockchains, Kiteai offers “AI LEGO blocks” that allow for a combination of transparent attributes and unlimited AI services.
Kiteai hits 10 million milestones
As explained by Kiteai contributors, this protocol solves the key issues that will prevent AI agents from reaching large-scale adoption in 2025.
Today’s AI agents are like self-driving cars trapped in a parking lot. Although technically capable, it is limited to limitations on infrastructure that is not built for autonomous software.
The platform has already reported that many great milestones have reached. Over 1.2 billion cumulative agent calls have been processed on the testnet, and more than 100 million users have been registered with consistent growth.
The team also reported over 100 ecosystem partners across AI, Data and Defi, and reported early integrations with PayPal and Shopify through the Kite Agent App Store.
From consumer personal agents (shop, travel, health) to enterprise automation (trading, supply chain, research), and multi-agent coordination across the ecosystem, Kiteai’s infrastructure enables the transition from AI to AI to AI to transition as an autonomous economic actor.
The upcoming release of the Kiteai L1 blockchain as Avalanche C-Chain will make the protocol fully functional to the public and mark the beginning of its on-chain economy.
