One of the largest crypto exchanges in the United States, Uphold suggests a key feature of XRP holders.
In an X’s post, the platform said it was trying to acknowledge the loyalty of the XRP army in more than just words. The statement sparked the argument that it could be on the verge of launching the much-anticipated XRP yield service.
UPHOLD’s unique bond with XRP holders
Support has long been considered “XRP Exchange.” In particular, it owns over $6 billion in XRP on behalf of its users, more than 10 times the amount of Bitcoin stored on the platform.
Acquisition function that is approaching fire
In September, Uphold confirmed that providing yields to XRP, a feature that has been consistently requested by the community was “close than ever.” The exchange noted that it has identified “some promising ways to provide it,” suggesting that future announcements can be linked to this loyalty-focused message.
This move comes as XRP sees new opportunities in decentralized finance. Flare Network Facet Protocol unlocks FXRP. This tokenized version of XRP allows holders to access loans, transactions, stubcoin mint and even liquid staking. Demand has already proven to be intense, with 5 million FXRP caps in the first week reaching just hours.
Loyalty changes into opportunity
Uphold’s tweet suggests that the loyalty of XRP holders who carried Exchange and its users through the toughest chapters of Ripple-Sec Saga will be rewarded in a concrete way.
In July, we worked with the Zebec network to endorse the AirDroped ZBCN tokens to users who hold at least 25,000 XRP of ZBCN tokens.
The move continues the UPhold trend of rewarding XRP holders, following the $50,000 XRP gift during the recent XRP Vegas 2025 event.
Before that, the exchange ran a months-long XRP sweepstakes promotion. The final round in October 2024 offered the $20,000 XRP Grand Prize and the $5,000 runner-up.
Meanwhile, in December 2023, Uphold launched Uphold Vault, a supplemental self-assessed solution that provides early access only to XRP holders.
Given the rich history of XRP-focused campaigns and rewards, some users speculate that the platform’s oldest supporters can even receive special gifts to further recognize their loyalty.
