Upbit and Bithumb, South Korea’s two largest cryptocurrency exchanges, have seen a significant increase in trading volume over the past 24 hours.
The market was booming with local investors making large trades, especially in certain altcoins. A total of hundreds of millions of dollars was recorded.
ZEROBASE (ZBT) surpassed Upbit in volume with $359 million and raised $15 million on Bithumb. XRP ranked second on both exchanges and retained the interest of Korean investors with a total value of $243 million.
