Chainlink, the industry standard oracle platform, has extended Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and data streams to the Open Network (TON), connecting TON to the global multi-chain economy. This integration establishes Chainlink as the official cross-chain infrastructure for Toncoin (TON), allowing Toncoin to be securely moved between TON and over 60 other blockchain networks using the Chainlink Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard.
This connection will allow assets and protocols already using CCIP to extend to TON, creating new liquidity opportunities and user access across the expanding Web3 environment. This positions TON as a connected ecosystem where tokens and protocols can move seamlessly between chains.
Chainlink will also deploy its Data Streams infrastructure to TON to provide low-latency market data for decentralized finance applications. This enables sub-second price updates and verifiable data from global liquidity providers, supporting more responsive and reliable trading and lending on TON.
