Pharos Network, a financial layer-1 blockchain, announced the formation of the RealFi Alliance, a strategic initiative aimed at bringing greater standardization and coordination to the on-chain implementation of institutions’ real-world asset (RWA) activities, according to an announcement shared with Finbold on February 23.
The alliance brings together asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers, and on-chain builders to help move the RWA market beyond isolated pilot programs and toward a more scalable and operational framework. The first cohort includes Chainlink, Assetto Finance, Ember, Faroo, LayerZero, R25, Re7 Labs, TopNod, and Centrifuge.
Coordinating infrastructure, liquidity, and compliance
Pharos said the RealFi Alliance is structured to address challenges such as fragmented liquidity, inconsistent infrastructure standards, and regulatory silos. Rather than viewing RWA as a static, tokenized asset, this effort positions RealFi as an infrastructure layer where assets are active and configurable for institutional use cases.
The partnership is built around four pillars: These include enabling real-world assets to be brought on-chain in a secure and configurable format, orchestrating infrastructure and compliance standards using Pharos’ deep parallel execution and built-in compliance modules, and designing liquidity and utility pathways such as staking, yield strategies, and application integration.
As part of this framework, Ember and Re7 Labs are working together to integrate institutional-level risk management and vault curation directly into the asset lifecycle. The partnership also aims to establish clearer transparency and benchmarking standards around the sources of risk and yield to support the participation of institutional capital.
“The core challenge facing on-chain finance today is not a lack of assets, but the absence of a unified environment in which those assets can function at scale.” Wish Wu, co-founder and CEO of Pharos Network, said: “The RealFi Alliance is our commitment to bring together leaders like Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, and expert asset operators to create an environment that reliably moves real value on-chain with institutional-grade trust.”
Pharos added that the initiative aims to ensure future mainnet launches with unified liquidity and compliance standards already in place. The RealFi Alliance is expected to grow over time, with future members selected based on asset quality, technical readiness, and ecosystem alignment.
