US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has decided to discontinue futures trading for a number of altcoins.
These transactions will be suspended on Coinbase Advanced and Coinbase International Exchange on April 21 at approximately 13:00 UTC (16:00 UTC+3), the company said in a statement.
As part of this decision, Coinbase announced that futures trading for the following altcoins will be suspended:

- Rare PERP
- Neiro Purp
- A-PERP
- ME-PERP
- XTZ-PERP
- KMNO-PERP
- raypurp
- STX-PERP
- ENS-PERP
- GMT-PERP
- SNX-PERP
- 1000 Flokipurp
- 0G-PERP
- audioperp
- Nil Purp
- biopurp
- UMA-PERP
- beam purp
- Initialization PERP
- somipurap
- EGLD-PERP
- Clunker Purp
- softpurp
- big time perp
The statement said all open positions at the time of the suspension will be automatically closed. The final settlement price will be calculated based on the average index price over the past 60 minutes before the trading halt. It was also noted that the funding rate would be zero during the last funding period before final settlement.
