Strategy, a prominent cryptocurrency investment firm, announced that it will continue purchasing Bitcoin. According to the company’s official statement, a total of 4,871 Bitcoins were recently purchased at an average price of $67,718. Approximately $329.9 million was spent on this acquisition.
The statement indicated that the transactions in question took place between April 1 and April 5, 2026, and emphasized the company’s continued commitment to its Bitcoin strategy. The strategy has long engaged institutional investors who have been adding digital assets to their balance sheets, with a particular focus on Bitcoin.
As of April 5, 2026, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings reached 766,970 BTC. This amount is estimated to represent approximately 3.65% of Bitcoin’s total supply. The company’s total investment to date is approximately $58.02 billion.
Meanwhile, the average cost of Bitcoin on Strategy is reportedly around $75,644. This suggests that the company may be incurring losses on some positions compared to current market prices, but the company’s long-term investment strategy still appears to hold.
Experts note that Strategy’s regular purchases indicate continued institutional demand in the market, and such large trades could have a supportive effect on Bitcoin prices.
