Empresa Brasileira de Correios eTelégrafos, a Brazilian state-owned postal service, has launched a pre-selection process for blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) businesses and experts to develop logistics and operations management solutions.
The bid, published on Friday in the country’s official journal Diáriooficial daUnião, calls for proposals to support the digital transformation of the institution’s services. The initiative, called the Licitação Seleção Pro-Vévia Logo Nº25000001/2025CS, focuses on finding advanced technology solutions for modernizing business processes, operations and internal supply management.
“We want to drive joint and dynamic processes to find artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions for business, operations and employment challenges,” the company announced.
Although organizations did not specify the exact use cases they were targeting, blockchain technology is widely adopted in supply chain tracking, document authentication, and transaction security. The use of artificial intelligence may be linked to logistical optimization and enhanced data analytics.
