COZ dispersion 667 $NEO We were recognized for our contributions to five ecosystems in Round 2.8 of Proof of Working 2.0 for our work on contract artifact management, community coordination, dApp onboarding templates, NeoFS storage tools, and Python SDK maintenance. With this distribution, a total of 5,079 pieces were distributed. $NEO It has been awarded over eight rounds since the program restarted in January.
This round will include returning contributors as well as new entrants, continuing the program’s role as a grassroots funding channel for open source research outside of traditional grant structures. Contributors will submit their completed work weekly via the COZ Discord. $NEO Award determined by the COZ Council.
Contract Deliverables, Community Coordination, and dApp Templates
Developed by Vault Keeper, Pusharoo is a smart contract artifact workspace for organizing, inspecting, and comparing deployment artifacts before on-chain deployment. The tool supports .nef and manifest uploads, detailed manifest reviews, and version comparisons that highlight added, removed, and changed features. Built with Angular 21, ASP.NET Core 10, and MongoDB via Docker Compose, it is designed to reduce deployment errors by increasing visibility of artifacts before contracts reach the live network.
Developed by aziz168, Neo Vision is a community-driven Discord hub that provides aggregation of ecosystem news, educational resources, project discovery, and event hosting. The platform also features a 2026 World Cup prediction system with rankings and rewards. Aziz168, an active Neo community member who previously developed NeoRedPill and NeoUltimateShop, will be featured in an upcoming NeoPod AMA.
The neow3j-react-starter template developed by fireche provides a production-ready full-stack starter for Neo N3 dApps. It combines Java/Kotlin smart contracts compiled via neow3j with a React/Vite frontend, wallet integration via NeoLine and WalletConnect, agent-enabled documentation, and testing guidance across contract, unit, and end-to-end layers. Fireche previously offered other Neo tools such as Gasetta and neovest.
NeoFS tools, SDK maintenance
Merl was recognized for NFS, a command-line client and interactive shell for NeoFS distributed storage workflows, along with the Neofs-sdk-zig v0.1.0 SDK. NFS supports one-shot CLI commands and interactive shells with WIF, NEP-6 wallet, and WalletConnect authentication, as well as support for the Model Context Protocol Server for integration with AI development tools. The Zig SDK provides gRPC client support, multi-node connection pooling, streaming upload and download, and container and object operations. Merl is a repeat contributor and was previously recognized in Round 2.2 of the TypeScript NeoFS SDK and Round 2.4 of the NeoFS FUSE Mount Tool.
CLAUS received funding for the NeoFS Python SDK v0.3.0. This introduces API compatibility updates for the latest NeoFS release, range GET support for partial object retrieval, updated session token handling, and migration to SearchV2 for object discovery. This release also removes support for deprecated homomorphic hashes. CLAUS was first funded in round 2.3 for the initial creation of an SDK, replacing the previous wrapper-based approach with a native gRPC implementation.
