Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will temporarily adjust user transactions due to a planned network upgrade on the Moon River (MOVR) network.
To ensure smooth support for the upgrade and protect the user experience, token deposits and withdrawals on the Moonriver network will be temporarily suspended, according to a statement from the exchange.
According to Binance’s official announcement, token deposit and withdrawal services on the Moonriver (MOVR) network will be temporarily suspended from 3:00 pm on July 6, 2026. The exchange stated that this measure was taken to ensure the secure management of technical processes during the planned network upgrade.
The announcement states that the Moonriver network upgrade will occur at block height 16,960,935, or approximately 4:00 pm on July 6, 2026. Binance emphasized that users do not need to take any technical actions during this process, as all technical requirements related to the upgrade will be handled by the company.
Meanwhile, the exchange also announced that trading of tokens on the Moon River network will not be affected by this process. Therefore, users can continue trading these assets through the Binance platform. This restriction applies only to deposit and withdrawal services.
Binance announced that it will resume deposit and withdrawal operations once the Moon River network is stable and operational after the network upgrade is completed. The company also said it would not make any further announcements regarding the reopening of these operations.
