Hashgraph Group, a Swiss company developing Web3 and AI solutions, and String Metaverse, India’s first publicly listed Web3 infrastructure company, have launched the BillsOnChain platform on the Hedera blockchain.
The new service converts paper receipts into tokenized digital assets. Users can upload their receipts to the blockchain, making them an immutable record that can be verified, stored, tracked, and used to: $NFT casting. The platform also supports VAT automation, audit compliance, and invoice validation.
According to the companies, BillsOnChain has already attracted more than 31,000 users using the Hedera wallet. Over 830,000 receipts were uploaded to the network and over 430,000 NFTs were minted using Hedera’s distributed ledger technology.
This project is designed for governments, financial institutions, corporations, and small and medium-sized enterprises. The platform helps automate accounts payable and receivable, improve invoice tracking, reduce fraud risk, and simplify cross-border payments.
