The Defiant’s calculation puts Oct. 30 revenue 540.1% above the $94,564 median for Oct. 23–29. Daily readings in the preceding 30 days ranged from $90,264 to $116,967.
Rewards Swell, Then Recede
The Oct. 30 transaction brought 3,794.86 $ETH from Lido’s execution-layer rewards vault into the staking pool. These rewards include priority fees and MEV—payments associated with ordering and including transactions in Ethereum blocks. The treasury payment came through the staking-reward fee distribution, rather than an unrelated treasury transfer.
DefiLlama’s calculation code books rewards when Lido’s daily oracle report recognizes them, then calculates the treasury’s fee share. Its “fees” measure includes the staking pool’s gross rewards, not just the amount retained by the DAO.
The Oct. 31 accounting report, recorded at 8:23 a.m. ET, recognized 302.36 $ETH in execution-layer rewards alongside the smaller treasury payment. That is a comparison of successive daily reports, not a completed Oct. 31 dollar-revenue total: DefiLlama’s daily revenue series still ended on Oct. 30 when retrieved.
