Asphere, an ANKR enterprise arm, has launched Solana Permissioned Environments (SPES) to offer a private, high-performance blockchain network tailored for businesses seeking speed, control and regulatory compliance.
The move is pushing Asphere towards SOC 2 Type 2 certification, and is looking to leverage Solana (SOL) Power in a secure and customizable way as a serious infrastructure partner for sectors such as finance, gaming and media.
summary
- Asphere is the enterprise arm of ANKR, a cross-chain infrastructure blockchain.
- Solana-authorized environments, or SPEs, enable Solana’s private, high-performance networks.
- Asphere also aims to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
The ANKR (ANKR) team has announced that Sphere will launch a new service on Friday, July 25th. This announced that the protocol’s products will help deploy networks to Solana.
According to Sphe, SPE is a bespoke network designed for enterprise clients, offering a private, high-performance environment.
Apart from having full control over high performance and infrastructure, enterprise users deploying SPEs will benefit from compliant blockchain networks.

What for as SPES?
Key use cases that include SPES support include permitted valters, gas-free transactions and financial networks that allow private execution. Platform offers also enable high-throughput, distributed applications across games, social FI and media.
“Each SPE combines Solana’s parallel execution, proximity settlement, low fees and energy efficiency with Asphere’s global infrastructure and 24/7 support,” writes ANKR.
The launch of the SPE is as Asphere, which achieved SOC 2 Type 1 compliance in 2024, and it says it is in its final stages towards Type 2 compliance. SOC 2 Type 2 is the security compliance standard for service organizations through AICPA and is a critical enterprise certification provided after a comprehensive audit procedure.
SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance
Asphere is focusing on the gold standards of the highest security, availability and confidentiality standards, using certifications that increase confidence from clients and partners as projects break into the market.
“Our SOC 2 compliance audit specifically covers security, availability and confidentiality standards, the fundamental principles of trustworthy technology partners,” Asphere said in a blog post.
Asphere collaborated with Web3 Foundation, an entity supporting Polkadot’s multichine network in a partnership aimed at launching a no-code rollup solution. The service announced by Asphere in May allows users to pay for custom rollup solutions using ANKR, USDC, or USDT from their Ethereum or Solana wallets.
