Arbitrum’s gaming investment group has offered up to 750,000 ARBs for the third consecutive year to join as a “trajectory” chain.
Currently it’s worth around $367,500, but this isn’t the case at all.
But in this down-and-out gaming market, that may be enough.
Ronin’s co-founders have shared screenshots on social media for offers from Arbitrum Gaming Ventures (AGV) and are noting that it also includes Game Content Creator Program Access (social content support funded by Arbitrum DAO).
You can also receive financial support for audit costs through the existing $10 million arbitrum ecosystem audit program.
“It’s cool to see Arbitram throw his hat into the ring,” wrote one of the founders, Jeff Zihoz Zihoz, in a rather neutral response to an offer that came from the head of Gaming and Consumer Partnership David Bolger.

The proposal highlights Arbitrum’s continued interest in the game.
Earlier this year, they are still moving forward in the sector despite some controversy about how widely AGV is committed to the game.
The AGV was previously known as the Arbitrum Gaming Catalyst. Its founding partner, Daniel Penn, told me in March that he was talking to more than 100 gaming teams (some of those talks seem to have brought investments ever since).
Arbitrum Gaming Ventures currently supports titles such as WildCard (a fun MOBA-style creature butler), as well as game startups such as Xai Games and Proof of Play (which recently killed Onchain Game Pirate Nation).
“Studio Chain” is also based on Arbitrum. This is a trajectory chain focused on gaming and entertainment from the Karrat Foundation, which is part of My Pet Hooligan.
The founder of Ronin doesn’t seem to be selling it entirely on the idea of jumping on an ARB train yet. They still accept offers from other sequencers.

Ronin and Sky Mavis co-founder Aleksander Larsen specifically mentioned optimism and Zksync as other possible vectors for Ronin to become L2 besides going the Arbitrum route.
Zirlin also emphasized that these decisions “will not be entirely complete until Sky Mavis.”
“They will be addressed and decided alongside the manager,” he explained.
Last week, Ronin’s leaders announced they were planning to rejoin Ethereum, leaving their sidechain to turn into a true Ethereum L2.
