BlackRock and Bitcoin: Inside Story
As BlackRock is back to the influx of Bitcoin ETFs, it is interesting to look into the recently revealed Q1 report. The key point is that of the $107 billion ETF, $3 billion, comes from digital asset products under the ISHARES line.
The company has combined Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF to earn $34 million in fee revenue. This is less than 1% of total revenue. Digital Asset AUM figures reached $50.3 billion, which still manages just 0.5% of BlackRock’s total $11.6 trillion assets.
