Santiment, the Crypto Analytics platform, said on Friday that several well-known assets were the most notable in online discussions as BTC, ETH, DOGE, USDT and EGLD lead the list.
According to Santiment, BTC dominated the conversation as users discussed their role as “digital gold,” the appeal of long-term investments and the importance of increasing government and institutional involvement. The company noted that the discussion also highlighted the use of independence and nodes as ways to protect networks.
The ETH was also noticeable. Santiment observes that ETH is frequently referenced in promotional materials for short-lived tokens sold as readily transferable and spendable, suggesting that ether continues to play a role in how it is presented to encrypted audiences.
The surge in Doge’s attention came from two developments, Santiment said. Rex-Soprey is preparing to launch what will become the first US-registered Dogecoin Exchange-Traded Fund, but Trump-backed Thumzup has announced an expansion of its mining operations with the purchase of 3,500 rigs.
Tether has attracted interest in a strategy to invest more heavily in the gold supply chain, Santiment reported. The company said Tether executives described the metal as “natural Bitcoin” and emphasized that Stablecoin issuers are expanding their portfolio beyond digital assets.
Finally, Santiment said that the discussion on Multiversx, centered on concerns about dilution due to increased EGLD supply, has stated. Users have expressed concern about projects placed on other chains, such as SUI, but some have been paying attention to the ongoing work on services such as Xportal and Xmoney.
