Cardano has reached a new governance milestone with the fastest ever approval proposal by DReps. The Cardano Critical Integrations Budget proposal crossed the 50% threshold in less than two days after submission, making it the fastest proposal ever approved by DReps.
Cardano DRep and SPO Jaromir Tesar highlighted this milestone in recent tweets. On November 27, a new budget information action was submitted for community consideration. The Cardano Critical Integrations Budget proposes an allocation of ADA 70 million from the Treasury to fund a coordinated program of ecosystem-critical integrations.

The move represents a coalition of Input Output, EMURGO, Cardano Foundation, Intersect, and Midnight Foundation, and is the first joint proposal by Cardano organizations.
Cardano runs on a decentralized governance system that gives all ADA holders a voice. The Chang hard fork was a two-part upgrade that introduced decentralized governance to the Cardano blockchain throughout the Voltaire era.
Something very exciting is happening: Charles Hoskinson
In a recent response on X, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson hinted that something very exciting is coming to Cardano.
“Some very exciting things are going to happen. Cardano is a sleeping giant, and it’s waking up and it’s pissing,” Hoskinson said.
Midnight’s NIGHT token will be launched as a Cardano native asset on December 8th, and the distribution and trading phase will begin on that day. It is traded as a Cardano token on the Cardano DEX and some exchanges.
The Cardano Critical Integrations Budget represents coordinated steps towards 2026 and aims to strongly position Cardano for its next phase of growth.
This Budget seeks to establish a fund dedicated to onboarding Tier 1 infrastructure components, including Tier 1 stablecoins, institutional custody and wallets, on-chain analytics, cross-chain bridges, and globally recognized pricing oracles.
