“Midnight is coming soon, Ouroboros Leios is coming, and we have a great partnership with Google Cloud,” added the Cardano founder.
As reported, Hoskinson predicted that there will be major changes in the cryptocurrency market and that privacy will be the next big issue.
Midnight brings streamlined privacy to blockchain by leveraging zero-knowledge proofs to protect sensitive data.
In late September, Midnight Foundation announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to expand community tools and resources to support developers. Midnight’s ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof) technology leverages Google Cloud systems’ Confidential Computing to protect private data.
Ouroboros Leios is a major upgrade to the Ouroboros Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus protocol powered by the Cardano blockchain. Ouroboros Leios aims to achieve significant scalability and throughput, far beyond Cardano’s current limitations.
Hydra welcomes major release
Hydra, Cardano’s Layer 2 scaling solution, has welcomed the major release of Hydra Node version 1.0.0.
This release represents a continued effort to support implementation of the Hydra Head protocol into production environments. We’ll continue to add powerful new features, showcase Hydra’s capabilities, and address user issues.
