Nick Tomaino, founder of 1Conefirmation, is one of the leading names of Cryptocurrency World and said in a statement on social media platform X that he believes Ethereum (ETH) will one day surpass Bitcoin (BTC).
In his post, which began with the phrase “ETH surpasses BTC,” Tomaino compared Bitcoin’s current position with the potential of Ethereum.
Tomino said Bitcoin was a cryptocurrency originally established by people, and this feature was brought to $2 trillion worth. Reciting the “value store” feature built on mathematical trust is innovative, Tomino informed that Bitcoin has become the institutional asset that today’s large corporations and states prefer.
Tomaino criticized the lack of useful applications on the network that attract new users, noting that one company owns more than 2.5% of its Bitcoin supply.
Tomaino said Ethereum hosts innovative use cases such as Decentralized Finance (DEFI), Stablecoins, NFTS, forecast markets, decentralized social networks and identity systems, both of which include new users in the sector and increase the value of ETH by making it more rare.
