(Zurich, Switzerland – September 2025) – Hyperbridge has announced the official mainnet integration of polygons into cross-chain networks. After a successful testnet phase, integrations go live, showing the ability of hyperbridges to promote seamless connectivity across the Web3 landscape.
Polygons with $141 billion in transfer volumes are the foundation of the Ethereum scaling ecosystem. This new integration creates a powerful two-way bridge, making polygons one of the destinations for hyperbridge users and developers.
Hyperbridge serves as a cryptoeconomic co-processor for Polkadot, providing secure and verifiable cross-chain messaging and token transfer. By adding polygons to the list of supported networks already including Ethereum, Optimism, arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Zkverify, and Gnosis, Hyperbridge significantly expands the interoperability footprint of polka dots and strengthens its role as a multi-chine hub.
“This new connection is undeniable evidence that Hyperbridge can scale verifiable interoperability across all Web3,” said Seun Lanlege, founder of Polytope Labs, the team behind Hyperbridge. “This is our vision, and was made possible by the development of the Tendermint Light client, which unifies the MultiChine under the HyperBridge security umbrella. This will integrate the HyperBridge with the Tendelint-based chain, and so on.”
This integration is heated following Hyperbridge’s recent decentralization of consensus relayers. These relayers are incentivized by the Hyperbridge Treasury, which holds a supply of 40% of the bridge (the native token of the Hyperbridge).
Polygon developers and users can now securely bridge Hyperbridge’s connected networks. Unlike traditional multisig-based bridges, HyperBridge leverages ZK-Light clients and final proofs to authenticate cross-chain messages. This approach provides a level of security equivalent to the blockchain itself, ensuring unreliable interoperability for users.
Hyperbridge’s advancements are strengthened by strong momentum in development, community and overall investment. That first relayer raised $2.8 million. This is based on a $2.5 million seed round led by Web3 Foundation and Scytale Digital, further strengthened by strategic investments from Harbour Industrial Capital, demonstrating sustained confidence in Hyperbridge’s long-term vision. This protocol has recently made several important integrations. That is Zkverify, Enjin, and Hydration (Polkadot’s biggest DEX is over $330 million TVL). The protocol also continues to undergo strict security audits by the same team that audits polka dots, ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.
Polygon Mainnet Integration enhances the position of polka dots as hubs for verifiable cross-chain activity. By linking one of the most active liquidity networks in Web3 with Polkadot’s secure, governance-driven design, Hyperbridge is building the foundation for next-generation multi-chine applications.

About Hyperbridge
Hyperbridge is the safest bridge in the world. This replaces multisig and MPC solutions. These are at the heart of the biggest bridge hacks with proof of secure encryption (consensus and storage). It has already been connected to more than 14 chains, including Ethereum, Base, BNB chains and more. This allows for mission-critical cross-chain user experiences that do not involve the luxury of centralized security models such as Stablecoins and other RWA publishers, DAOS, and cross-chain governance.
About Polka Dot
Polkadot is the powerful and secure core of Web3, providing a shared foundation that integrates some of the world’s most transformative apps and blockchains. Polkadot offers an advanced modular architecture that allows developers to easily design and build their own specialized blockchain projects, pooled security that ensures the same high standard for secure block production with all connected chains and apps connected to it, and robust governance that ensures transparent systems that make everyone form a blockchain ecosystem for growth and sustainability. In Polkadot, users are not just participants, but co-creators with the power to shape the future.
