Monda, the leading Dex and liquidity incubator for the Monad blockchain, has been rebranded to Purps Exchange and offers cross-chain swap.
According to a recent official announcement about X, Monda has been officially rebranded to Purps Exchange. The new home on the platform is now purps.xyz, with the old domain monda.fund being fully redirected.
In a follow-up post, the company explained the reasons behind the brand. First, the previous name “Monda” that unintentionally collided with other “Mon” projects in the Monad ecosystem led to a disruption and a retreat in reputation.
Moving to PURPS also reflects the maturity of the exchange. With Dex expanding rapidly, the team felt that the “Mon-Da” label had grown and that they needed a name that stood independently and without directly related to the Monad itself.
The new name Purps not only captures the platform’s signature purple theme, but also brings a clever nod to its core offering, 20x PERPS trading. The phrase “Are you swapping purple today?” is now the brand’s slogan and both playful double endangers within the trading community.

Today, the company also announced that it is integrating Cryptorubic, a decentralized bridging protocol that enables native cross-chain token swap. To celebrate, the company is offering 250 monad presents.

Cross-chain token swaps are now live, allowing PURPS to easily access its deep liquidity and low-cost instant swaps by users in other chains. Bridging is built into DAPP, allowing new users to board faster without friction and offer trading or liquidity.
