Earlier this year, IOTA announced the introduction of its Business Innovation Program (BIP) as part of its plan to support organizations working on real-world solutions. On May 14, IOTA announced its first group of participants. It consists of three organizations that already use the platform to solve global issues in the areas of digital identity, product data integrity and sustainability.
Orobo is one of the first three participants selected for BIP. Orobo is building infrastructure that meets Europe’s future sustainability requirements. The company is known for its digital product passport platform. This helps manufacturers track the entire lifecycle of their products. Orobo is expected to use IOTA mainnet and a variety of IOTA products, including identity, gas stations, explorers, custom mobile contracts, and more.
Impiere Technologies is one of three participants selected for BIP. The innovation aims to solve education, e-commerce and logistics issues. Impierce Technologies will use IOTA MainNet, IOTA ID and IOTA gas stations in its initiative. The ObjectID is the third and final member of the BIP. Unlike the others, it offers a long-term solution to problems in three key areas: improving traceability from origin to delivery in the food and pharmaceutical industry. Provides customers with confidence and transparency in the luxury resale market. Ensuring accountability in the global supply chain of the manufacturing sector.
