Blast has removed the Safe frontend for Multisig wallets and encourages users to use self-hosted or Brahmafi as it works to integrate Multisig directly into the mobile platform.
Built by Blur Founder Pacman and backed by a paradigm, Layer-2 network Blast has terminated its service agreement with self-obligatory wallet provider Safe, citing the risks and usability concerns of third-party members preparing to launch its own multi-sig solution.
We’ve decided not to renew our service agreement with @Safe.
If you previously used their frontend to access your multisig wallet, you have two options:
1. Use @BrahmaFi’s hosted frontend
2. Host your own frontend to reduce supply chain risk (instructions here:…— Blast (@blast) May 13, 2025
The team behind the network said in an announcement of X on Tuesday that it has decided not to “renew” its service agreement with SAFE, adding that users who previously accessed the Multisig wallet have two options via Safe’s frontend.
“That’s why we’re building multisig capabilities directly on Blast Mobile, bringing secure wallet access to the entire Blast community.”

The move came weeks later by Safe, the former Gnosis Safe, to announce a restructuring of major companies. In mid-April, SAFE co-founder Lukas Schor said the company is “rebuilding its team and saying goodbye to our 14 teammates, those we deeply respect, each of whom have contributed meaningfully to our journey.”
Scholl explained that the layoffs were due to the “complexity” that grew within the company, adding that increasing complexity has “begun to affect our ability to travel at the pace we expect from ourselves.”
The rebuild was also linked to a secure developer environment that was compromised following the $1.43 billion theft from Crypto Exchange Bybit. The attacker is believed to be part of North Korea’s Trader Group and used a fake stock simulator to install the malware and steal session tokens from the developer’s laptop.
