This morning, Bitcoin (BTC) investors cheered on news of the expected plans by Dutch lawmakers to approve the creation of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR).
Unfortunately, X’s post quickly won a community note and ended the excitement.
“They aren’t. That’s just a suggestion,” someone commented, saying the man they were talking to would not speak on behalf of the Dutch parliament.
“This is an old video. Everyone voted against it,” someone else commented.
Various posts about non-existent news have spread.
