As tensions between the United States and Iran rapidly rise, President Donald Trump is drawing attention for his harsh remarks.
In his latest statement, President Trump reiterated his ultimatum to Iran, saying, “I have given Iran 10 days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz. Time is running out. If we don’t get a result within 48 hours, hell will begin.”
Meanwhile, former National Security Adviser John Bolton harshly criticized the Trump administration after Iran shot down a US military plane. Bolton suggested President Trump may be in a “panic state” after Iran shot down an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet and targeted an A-10 Warthog. In an interview with CNN, Bolton said the lack of a direct statement from the White House “undermined the credibility of the administration.”

It was reported that the pilot of the plane shot down in the collision ejected and survived, with the US military rescuing one of the pilots and a search operation continuing for the other. Additionally, a U.S. UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter was also targeted in the Iranian fire. However, these aircraft managed to escape from the area.
Bolton said Iran’s capture of the pilot would not change the course of the war, but it would be “a victory for Iranian propaganda.” He also claimed that the Trump administration acted without sufficient consideration of the consequences of the military operation.
As the conflict enters its fifth week, President Trump has previously claimed that U.S. attacks on Iran have significantly weakened the country’s air defense systems and naval and missile capabilities. President Trump said the military operation, code-named Operation Epic Fury, was “nearly complete” and signaled pressure on Iran would continue to increase.
