A referral code on pump.fun does exactly one thing: it lowers the fee on every trade the account makes. It does not unlock a different market, it does not give you better prices, and it does not change how the bonding curve works. If you are going to make an account anyway, using one costs you nothing.
What the code changes
pump.fun’s standard swap fee is 0.45 percent. An account created with a referral code trades at 0.40 percent. On a thousand dollars of volume that is fifty cents. On a hundred thousand it is fifty dollars, and that is the honest size of it: this is a discount on the fee, not a bonus that pays you to show up.
| Fee on a trade | Standard account | Account made with a code |
|---|---|---|
| 0.45% vs 0.40% | 0.45% | 0.40% |
| Cost per $1,000 traded | $4.50 | $4.00 |
| Cost per $100,000 traded | $450 | $400 |
pump.fun also runs its own first-deposit promotion on the invite screen, which is theirs to change whenever they like. We are not going to quote a number for it because we cannot see your account and we do not control it.
How to enter it
- Open pump.fun/join/easynarwhal4921. The invite screen shows the code already filled in, with a copy button.
- Create the account, on the web or in the app, and paste the code in the referral field when it asks. If you arrive through that link it is prefilled, which is the part most people get wrong.
- Connect a Solana wallet. The fee discount applies to the account from then on, on every trade.
What we get out of it
A share of the trading fees the code account pays, paid by pump.fun out of their side, not added to yours. That is the entire business model of this site: the board, the checker, the launch record and the daily email are free, and the referral share is what pays for the API calls behind them. We do not take a position in any coin, we do not sell signals, and we do not get paid to put a coin on the board.
If you are deciding whether to sign up at all
Read our own record first, because it is not flattering. Of 381 launches we tracked from their first minute, the median coin sat at $2,768 after six hours against $2,833 at minute one, and half of them peaked inside five minutes. The coins that went somewhere had a crowd arriving: 61 unique buyers against 4 for the ones that died. A discount on the fee does not change any of that. It saves you a few tenths of a percent on trades you were going to make anyway.
- What 381 launches actually did in six hours
- The 17 coins that broke $50,000, and the 336 that never reached $10,000
- The live board: the ten coins with the most buying right now
- Grade any coin before you touch it
Questions we get asked
Does a pump.fun referral code expire?
Not that we can see. The code is tied to the account you create, not to a date, and the fee stays at the discounted rate for that account.
Can I add a code to an account I already have?
We have not found a way, and pump.fun’s own invite page frames it as something you enter when you sign up. If you already trade there, assume the answer is no.
Does the code cost me anything?
No. The fee you pay is lower, not higher, and there is no markup on top. The referrer’s share comes out of pump.fun’s fee, not your balance.
Does using a code mean you are telling me which coins to buy?
No, and that is deliberate. The board ranks live buying and grades what your exit actually costs. It is a safety screen, not a call sheet.
What is the code again?
easynarwhal4921, and the link that prefills it is pump.fun/join/easynarwhal4921.
One warning that has nothing to do with the code
Any page claiming a pump.fun referral code will make you money is selling you something. A code changes four basis points of fee. It cannot make a coin go up, and no code, bot or group can. Most coins launched on pump.fun never reach $10,000 at any point, and the ones that do can round-trip to nothing in an hour. Only trade what you can watch and afford to lose.
