- Raydium’s LaunchLab created 3,792 tokens, but only 43 moved to external transactions.
- PumpFun still dominates the creation of the Solana Token, offering a faster, slower experience.
Raydium certainly is a town between Solana Crypto lovers. Since launching LaunchLab on April 16th, the platform has promoted the birth of 3,792 new tokens. However, the actual number that catches the eye is the number of “graduated” tokens (only 43) that have successfully traded externally.
What does that mean? The 1.13% graduation rate is the number of people asking questions, but is this a sign of too much enthusiasm or a difficult process?
Additionally, LaunchLab is trying to offer a different approach to PumpFun, the platform that previously dominated daily token creation in Solana.
After Pumpfun released its own Dex called Pumpswap, Raydium responded by launching Launchlab. This is not just a follower, but it brings features like a flexible bonding curve, transition fees, and additional incentives for creators. The goal is to attract serious creators who want to spend a long life on the project, not only rise for a while and then sink.
Raydium simplifies token creation with JustSendit
On April 17, 2025, Raydium added the JustSendit feature to LaunchLab. Once the market capitalization reaches a certain threshold, the liquidity of the token is immediately transferred to Raidium’s automated market makers.
Imagine you can create a token that’s as simple as opening a new file on your computer. This is how the process currently works. It’s practical and fast, but of course I leave a question about quality.
Interestingly, despite the high level of enthusiasm, the market’s sentiment for Raydium is still not very bright. Three days ago, Raydium was named “Today’s Coin” by Concodex after a 24-hour rise of 8.81%. However, the technical indicators are still bearish.
At the same time, the price of Ray Tokens is currently $2.27a little above 3.03% In the last 24 hours 10.75% In the past 7 days. It’s not persuasive, but it’s a move that might give you a bit of hope.
Quick token or curation? You decide
Meanwhile, PumpFun still controls Solana’s token creation volume, with over 60% of its daily contributions. They recently regained the livestreaming capabilities of 5% of users. Updated moderation rules and community feedback make Pumpfun’s approach more mature.
Their reputation is being questioned due to the flood of instant meme tokens, but they remain the best option for creators who prefer a fast approach without too many ruffles.
Not only that, PumpFun has set up a new development path based on feedback, moderators and policy experts. This means anyone who wants to play in the world of Solana Token is facing two passes: Raydium with a more curated process and PumpFun, freewheel style.
