In the last few hours, Ripple minted $20 million $RLUSDincreasing the supply of Ripple USD stablecoin on the Ethereum blockchain.
20,000,000 according to Ripple’s stablecoin tracker $RLUSD was cast in $RLUSD Treasury provides Ethereum blockchain transaction hashes.
This follows recent mint and burn transactions that took place on the Ethereum blockchain this week. February 25th, 1,650,000 $RLUSD burnt with $RLUSD Ministry of Finance; 5,000,236 $RLUSD and 4,758,000 $RLUSD was cast in $RLUSD Treasury, all on the Ethereum blockchain.

Merrick said Ripple is already working with a number of local financial institutions and is very bullish on its continued growth as well as its overall market position.
Ripple announces decentralized funding model $XRP 2026 ledger
Over the past decade, Ripple has invested billions of dollars to help companies grow. $XRP Ledger and broader digital asset infrastructure. In a recent report, Ripple shared that since 2017, over $550 million of that has gone directly into XRPL ecosystem initiatives such as non-equity grants, builder incentives, strategic partnerships, and growth programs.
Since 2021, these efforts have included hackathons, builder bounties, XRPL grants, and XRPL accelerators, supporting approximately 200 projects worldwide across developer infrastructure, payments, DeFi, tokenization, AI, gaming, e-commerce, carbon markets, and enterprise finance applications.
Based on past precedents, most of the $XRP Funding for the Ledger ecosystem has flowed through Ripple-supported initiatives such as the XRPL Grant.
While these programs remain important, Ripple said 2026 will mark a shift to a more decentralized model, with independent organizations, regional hubs, venture partners and community-led initiatives playing a greater role in supporting builders.
