Earlier this Friday, Whale Alert, a widely used service that tracks large-scale cryptocurrency transfers, revealed that Ripple had sent $498 million worth of XRP tokens to unknown wallets.
The community is confused by the massive transfers, and some users point out that it’s already too slow for the escrow movement.
As Reported by U.TodayRipple unlocked the 1 billion XRP token on June 4th. Prior to this, the company has locked 670 million tokens into escrow.
Some interpreted recent transfers as a bearish sign of XRP tokens.
According to Coingecko data, XRP is currently trading at $2.18 after adding 3% over the last 24 hours.
