Bitcoin Naysayer Peter Schiff says he is “probably responsible” for anyone who owns Bitcoin more than anyone else.
“Well, based on what I was told by countless attendees at Bitcoin 2025, I’m going to be responsible for those who own more Bitcoin than any other individual,” he said.
“Every time you tell them not to buy Bitcoin, you buy more,” he excluded at the Bitcoin 2025 conference.
At the same time, Schiff remains very critical of Bitcoin, claiming that wealth was not born with the help of the biggest cryptocurrency.
“What happened was a massive transfer of wealth from those who bought Bitcoin and crypto early to those who bought them later,” he pointed out.
Schiff, who first began criticizing Bitcoin in 2011, argues that the community behind cryptocurrency is like a “massive cult.”
