The community is still waiting for justice
But there is a building up of frustration in the community. Users should note that a year has passed, with no refunds or clear answers. The exchange is currently requiring potential revoting. Many people are asking at the next hearing on July 15th. When will you finally get your token back?
July 18th marks the year since the big hack. A year later, the victim is still stuck in the same place as he is waiting, and no solution is visible.
Recently, a few days before the July 18 hack anniversary, user Romy Johnson filed a fiery 40-page affidavit, demanding that he return the outstanding funds. He accuses the company of hiding Panama’s shell entities and shifting its asset classification. The key question now is whether this will help justice, or will there be more courtroom drama first?
Is justice delayed for everyone?
However, some users warn that the affidavit could delay the recovery of the Wazirx fund again. He warns that the move could derail the entire recovery plan, which is designed to handle a fair amount of all users hacking and redissolving them. If approved, there is a risk that 45% of users will be waiting even longer for the hacked fund.

With a day remaining before the final court hearing on July 17th, Romy Johnson filed a last-minute affidavit requesting that only hacked tokens be released.
This move can interfere with everyone’s recovery.

Previously, a similar affidavit delayed the process in April. This can be repeated and allows thousands of users to retreat again.
If the court rejects the scheme for this new affidavit, no one will get anything. The motion claims to support users, but there is the risk of delaying the fund’s recovery and creating departments within the community. He suggests that collaboration should be the path forward if intentions really help.
He added that the court must prioritize fair resolution for all users and ensure a unified funding and a timely recovery.
