Ethereum Scaling Solution Soneium integrates the interoperability framework hyperlane, allowing developers to build cross-chain daps and token bridges.
Hyperlane was launched at Soneium (Sony), the Ethereum (ETH) layer 2 blockchain founded by Sony Group Corporation and Startale.

The integration with Hyperlane contributes to the goal of providing Soneium developers with third-party tools to help build and launch Dapps. Hyperlane’s cross-chain interoperability allows Soneium developers to create cross-chain apps and token bridges, connecting Soneium to other blockchains, unlocking the wide range of possibilities of their projects.
This development comes just after another big announcement from Soneium. As reported by Crypto.News on March 12, Soneium partnered with Japan’s largest social network line to launch a serious mini app. With Hyperlane now live on Soneium, builders of these apps can leverage cross-chain interoperability to integrate these apps with other blockchains.
Despite the news, Soneium’s Token Sony has fallen 17% in the last 24 hours and is currently bottoming out at $0.00014, consolidating after a sharp drop of $0.0007 from its January peak.

The interoperability framework hyperlane, formerly known as the Abacus Network, was officially launched in January 2022. Its main goal is to enable communication and message passage between different blockchains, allowing developers to build cross-chain apps and token bridges. It supports many popular blockchains, including Ethereum (ETH), Arbitrum (ARB), Optimism (OP), Solana (Sol), Cosmos (Atom), and new blocks such as Aleph Zero, DogeChain and current Soneium.
In addition to enabling cross-chain dap to access different blockchain capabilities and services in one location, HyperLane offers a cross-chain liquidity solution that allows asset movement across the blockchain ecosystem.
