February 11, 2026 – Tether, the largest digital asset industry, today announced the launch of the USD₮Tether Directory. This is a public resource that maps where and how USD₮ is used by customers around the world across exchanges, payments, wallets, infrastructure providers, and other types of financial services around the world. The Ecosystem Directory was announced by Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino at the 2026 Plan ₿ Forum in San Salvador.
Built in partnership with The Grid, an API-first ecosystem intelligence platform for Web3, Tether Directory provides users with an intuitive, searchable overview of products and services that support USD₮. It aims to provide users, developers, institutions, and regulators with greater visibility into real-world integration of USD₮.
USD₮ is used in a wide range of markets and environments, from payments and remittances to trading and providing liquidity. With a market capitalization of $186 billion and growing, USD₮ has become an important financial infrastructure option in a digital dollar world. By mapping and cataloging verified USD₮ integrations, the directory provides a clearer picture of how USD₮ works in practice across different use cases and geographies.
