first Solana According to one company’s effective registration statement, the Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) will start in the US tomorrow. Florida-based Volatility Shares LLC launched a pair of funds tracking Solana Futures on Thursday, with Volatility Shares Solana ETF (Ticker Solz) tracking Solana Futures. Volatility, meanwhile, shares twice the Solana ETF (SOLT), providing twice the leveraged exposure.

Volatility Stock filed documents for the Solanasol ETF in December 2024. Other major companies, such as Grayscale and BlackRock, are awaiting approval for launch, but volatility will have the first Solana Token ETF in the United States. “Our launch is coming at a time of new optimism about US cryptocurrency innovation,” said Justin Young, CEO of Volatility Stocks. “We believe the Trump administration recognizes the strategic importance of maintaining American leadership in financial technology.”

Solana ETFS, which holds the coin directly, is currently not available, but experts see the Bolatiledity Shares ETF as an indication that Sol Cryptocurrency spot funds are coming. Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) had similar routes before the crypto ETF was approved in 2024. Additionally, ETF experts at Bloomberg Eric Bulknath predict that Solanasol will follow that path.
“The first altcoin after ether. But history shows that ETF investors are eager to hold physical assets as much as possible,” says Balknath. “There can be some issues when the spot is approved.” Balchunas also predicts there is a 75% chance that the first spot in the Solana Sol ETF will be approved by the end of 2025.
Spot Bitcoin ETF has accumulated $92 billion since its debut in January 2024. This is much higher than Ethereum’s $6 billion, but Sol helps both ETFs go the right path. Solana Sol has already risen 6% in the last 24 hours following the news. At press time, Sol is $131.24, but if the first Sol ETF works well, it could surge beyond $150 in the coming days.
