The cryptocurrency market could be distracted by the US government closure next week. With no publicly important data from the world’s largest economy, traders can be difficult to identify the starting point for a position’s overall picture.
The closure will prevent new ETNs from being approved in the US, but UK retail investors across the Atlantic will have access to cryptocurrency ETNs for the first time in four years. The Financial Conduct Authority rescinded the ban in August, claiming that the market has evolved and understanding of such products has deepened.
In the cryptocurrency industry, Hedera is upgrading its mainnet to implement batch transactions, and Jito DAO is voting on whether to double the number of validators on the StakeNet platform for the Solana infrastructure project to “migrate the Jito stake pool to a more productive economic equilibrium.”
