Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin has made some important comments regarding the network. Vitalik Buterin used his X account to draw attention to serious issues with the ETH network, arguing that the network needs to be made more understandable in order to fully maintain its secure structure.
Buterin said the complexity of the current protocol is an obstacle for Ethereum to be understood by a broader audience.
At this point, Buterin emphasized the need to improve this area by simplifying the Ethereum protocol and making it easier to understand.
According to Buterin, simplifying the blockchain will allow more people to understand how Ethereum works, reducing reliance on a small group of experts and making it truly decentralized.
According to Buterin, the more people understand Ethereum, the more confidence there will be in the system that the network is working properly. This is essential for the healthy functioning of decentralization.
“One of the most important and often overlooked ways to build a trust-free structure is to increase the number of people who understand the entire protocol from top to bottom. Ethereum needs to improve in this area by simplifying the protocol.”
In a separate post, Buterin also praised Wonderland for its significant contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem.
Buterin highlighted the team’s support in areas such as cross-chain interoperability and the Kohaku project, which he said supports both the Ethereum Foundation and various Ethereum initiatives.
“Wonderland is a great team and has been very instrumental in the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly the EF interoperability and Kohaku efforts, as well as many Ethereum projects,” Buterin said.
