The Algorand Foundation has launched the Aid Trust Portal, an online tool that tracks and visualizes humanitarian payments. Built on top of the Algorand blockchain, this portal allows users to see the flow of assets between wallets, just like Blockchain Explorer. You can view Algorand assets with a public key, allowing for a transparent tracking of connections between wallets and aid funds.
The portal is already being used by HESABPAY to monitor payments made to multiple clients, including UN agencies, in areas with limited infrastructure and security challenges, such as Afghanistan and Northeast Syria. The Aid Trust Portal provides interactive visualizations of how funds move around the network, helping donors, aid organizations, governments and regulators understand the flow of assistance supported.
