World Chain, an L2 network that supports the world ecosystem, uses ChainLink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standards. This step allows users to move WLDs across the chain, and developers can build applications that use these cross-chain features.
The CCT standard is integrated with CCIP, providing a framework for token issuers to easily connect assets across a variety of blockchains. This addition allows WLD to operate over multiple networks with consistent functionality.
World Chain also implements ChainLink data streams. This is a data solution that provides high-frequency financial market data with sub-second delays. The service allows global chain decentralized applications to access reliable pricing information and use it for transactions, lending and other debt activities.
