Litecoin Foundation (@LTCFoundation) has announced the first batch of speakers for the 2026 Litecoin Summit. Charlie Lee, NYM’s Alexis Roussel, LitVM’s Azteca Amaya, and five others will be participating in the two-day event in Amsterdam this June. This is the first time the summit will be held outside the United States.
The 6th Litecoin Summit will take place on June 22-23, 2026 at the Tobacco Theater in central Amsterdam, kicking off Dutch Blockchain Week. The foundation is promoting the event as “our first Euro Summit,” with two-day passes starting at 84 euros and payments made in BTC dollars. $LTCor Fiat.
Why is the summit leaving the United States for the first time?
Previous events have taken place in cities such as South San Francisco, Nashville, and most recently, Las Vegas in May 2025. The move to Amsterdam in 2026 reflects the Foundation’s commitment to deepening its relationships with European developers, regulators, and the broader Web3 community.
By tying the summit to Dutch Blockchain Week, Litecoin will be in front of one of the largest Web3 audiences in Europe. Past summit speakers have included Ron Paul, PGP creator Phil Zimmerman, Naomi Brockwell, Lightning Labs’ Elizabeth Stark, John D’Agostino, and Jameson Ropp. The foundation is sticking to its core themes for 2026: privacy, economic freedom, and resistance to censorship.
Who are the speakers in the first wave?
Eight names have been confirmed so far, and the foundation notes that more will follow. This list includes protocol leadership, privacy technology, mining hardware, payments, and entertainment.
- charlie leeThe creator of Litecoin and director of the Litecoin Foundation heads the lineup. He has spoken at previous summits, and his keynote address will cover LitVM progress, payments adoption, privacy roadmap, and more.
- Alexis RousselCOO and co-founder of the privacy network NYM, focuses on privacy rights. He previously founded Swiss cryptocurrency broker Bity and worked at the International Court of Justice and the United Nations.
- Aztec AmayaHe is the co-founder of LitVM and Chief Strategy Officer of Lunar Digital Assets, where he is leading the development of Litecoin’s EVM-compatible layer 2. LitVM is positioned to bring DeFi, real-world assets, and zero-knowledge tools to Litecoin’s hard money base layer.
- Ben MikloszekCo-founder of Lokotech AS, he is a long-time supporter of Litecoin, Dogecoin, and other Scrypt and AuxPoW coins. His company is perfecting what it calls the most advanced Scrypt ASIC ever.
- David EichelAlso known as Zordiak, he is the co-founder of Pepecoin, a proof-of-work blockchain that is merge-minable with Litecoin and Dogecoin, launched in 2024. He has been mining and building cryptocurrencies since 2013.
- Ivan Escamilla RodriguezCoinsbee’s Product and Growth Lead is focused on turning cryptocurrencies into real-world purchasing power. He has spoken at events in El Salvador, UAE, Germany, and Mexico.

- randy hipperKnown as Miss Teen Crypto, she hosts the Foundation’s “Foundations by Litecoin” podcast and has her own shows, including The Randy Hipper Show. The 23-year-old has been promoting the adoption of Bitcoin and Litecoin since 2020.
What can attendees expect on the agenda?
The summit will feature lectures, panel discussions, workshops, breakout sessions, an exhibitor area, and networking. The current lineup of speakers shows several possible tracks, including privacy and censorship resistance with Roussel’s NYM efforts, advances in LitVM and Layer 2 with Amaya, Scrypt mining hardware with Miklozek, and merchant payments with Coinsbee. Amaya’s session will feature the latest progress on the LitVM testnet and the mainnet timeline for EVM Compatible Layer 2, one of the hottest technology roadmaps in the Litecoin ecosystem.
Pepecoin (@pepecoinNetwork) is also worth flagging. @litecoin and @dogecoin They have been merge-mining together since 2014. This means that the same Scrypt hashing power protects both chains at the same time. Pepecoin was slotted into the same setup in 2024, allowing Litecoin miners to earn block rewards on three chains in parallel. With Eichel’s participation, the summit signaled continued openness to Litecoin’s merged mining ecosystem and its memecoin-adjacent communities, an angle the foundation has historically weaponized and defended, but one that increasingly drives Scrypt network activity.
Simpson and Hipper concluded the program on the entertainment and community side, reminding us that the summit is designed as a Litecoin gathering, not a pure technology conference.
