Binance and Bybit are pursuing separate delisting actions in May, impacting several crypto trading pairs and tokens as both exchanges continue regular reviews of market activity, liquidity, and compliance standards.
According to the report, Binance will remove 12 spot trading pairs on May 8, 2026 at 03:00 UTC. The pair is AVA/$BTC,BCH/$BNB,CFX/$BTCthis/$BTC,HBAR/$FDUSD,THE/$BNBmagic/$BTC,OP/$BTCPUNDIX/USDC, STEEM/ETH, WIN/TRX, and XPL/$FDUSD.
The exchange said the decision was made based on regular evaluation of listed spot pairs. Pairs with weak liquidity or low trading volume may be removed even if the underlying asset is available elsewhere on the platform.
Binance says tokens are not fully delisted
Binance emphasized that the removal of a Spot pair does not mean that the associated tokens will leave Binance Spot. Users can trade the Reference Asset and the Quoted Asset through other supported pairs, if available.
The exchange will also suspend spot trading bot services for the affected pairs. Users with active bots are advised to renew or cancel their bots before the deadline to avoid trading issues and possible losses.
Meanwhile, Bybit announced a delisting focused on a broader range of tokens. According to official reports, the exchange plans to remove $DGBHook, SLP, RDNT, Game, Portal, and $USDD From spot trading. The affected pairs are DGBUSDT, HOOKUSDT, SLPUSDT, RDNTUSDT, GAMEUSDT, PORTALSUSDT, and USDDUSDT.
The report notes that trading in these pairs will end after 8:00 a.m. UTC on May 12, 2026. Any outstanding orders that are still active at that time will be automatically cancelled.
Bybit sets deadlines for deposits, bots and withdrawals
Bybit said it regularly reviews listed tokens and projects to ensure they meet platform requirements. The exchange mentioned performance and compliance standards in the notification.
Deposits of affected tokens will end after May 11th at 8:00 AM UTC. Tokens will also be removed from Bybit Convert after May 12th at 8:00 AM UTC.
Users running Spot Grid bots or DCA bots on affected pairs were instructed to close them before trading ends. Otherwise, Bybit will automatically terminate the bot.
In the meantime, withdrawals are still possible after the trade ends, but Bybit urged users to act quickly. $DGB Withdrawals will end after 8:00 AM UTC on August 11, 2026. rest $DGB It may be converted into a stablecoin later, but Bybit said the conversion is not guaranteed.
